  • 2 cups uncooked long-grain white rice

  • 2 cups chicken broth

  • 1 cup milk

  • 2 cans (10.5 oz each) cream of chicken soup

  • 1½ pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • ½ teaspoon paprika

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Optional: 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. Grease a 9×13 baking dish.

  3. Spread the uncooked rice evenly in the baking dish.

  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together chicken broth, milk, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  5. Pour the mixture evenly over the rice and gently stir.

  6. Place the chicken breasts on top of the rice mixture.

  7. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil.

  8. Bake for 45 minutes.

  9. Remove the foil, stir gently, and bake uncovered for an additional 10–15 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the rice is tender.

  10. If using cheese, sprinkle it on top and bake until melted.

  11. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve warm.
