Breakfast Pizza

Ingredients
For the Crust
1 can jumbo flaky biscuits OR 1 store-bought pizza dough
1 tbsp melted butter
For the Toppings
6 slices bacon, cooked & chopped
½ lb breakfast sausage, cooked & crumbled
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup mozzarella cheese
½ cup bell peppers, diced
½ cup onions, diced
4 large eggs
Salt & pepper to taste
Optional: chives or green onions for topping

Baking sheet or pizza pan
Cast iron skillet (for cooking sausage/bacon)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Grease a baking sheet or pizza pan.
If using biscuits:
Separate biscuits and press them together to form a single sheet of dough.
Pinch seams so they stay sealed.
If using pizza dough, roll into about a 12-inch circle.
Brush the dough lightly with melted butter.
Bake 8 minutes to partially cook the crust.
2. Cook the Toppings
In a skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
In the same skillet, cook breakfast sausage, breaking it apart.
Dice peppers and onions.
Mix sausage, bacon, peppers, and onions together in a bowl.
3. Assemble the Pizza
Remove the crust from the oven after the initial 8 minutes.
Sprinkle half the cheese across the crust.
Spread cooked sausage/bacon/veggies evenly across the top.
Make 4 small wells in the topping mixture.
Crack one egg into each well.
Season eggs lightly with salt & pepper.
Top with remaining cheese.
4. Bake
Return pizza to oven.
Bake 12–15 minutes, or until:
Eggs are set but still soft
Cheese is melted
Crust is golden brown
5. Serve
Slice into 6 pieces.
Top with green onions if desired.
Serve immediately while hot.
Tips for Best Results
If you prefer fully cooked eggs:
Scramble eggs lightly and pour over toppings before cheese.Add jalapeños for a spicy version.
Using biscuit dough makes the pizza thicker and fluffier.
Pizza dough gives a thinner, crisper style.
